Job Description:
Role overview:
- Location: Vadodara, Gujarat | Work model: On-site/Office
- Employment type: Full-time (1st Year Trial Period then Permanent Contract)
- Target start date: ASAP
Key responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Rockwell Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal)
- Design HMI/SCADA screens; support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and site troubleshooting
- Integrate and tune VFDs/servo drives, basic motion control
- Work with electrical controls, pneumatics, and instrumentation
- Understand industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP); follow basic cybersecurity hygiene
- Apply machine functional safety concepts (ISO 13849/IEC 62061); maintain clear technical documentation
Must-have qualifications
- Experience in industrial automation/control within manufacturing or process environments
- Strong PLC/HMI experience with Rockwell or Siemens (Both is good)
- Solid electrical control fundamentals (motor starters, contactors, overloads, VFDs)
- Hands-on commissioning and field troubleshooting experience
- Basic pneumatics and instrumentation exposure
- Clear technical communication and documentation skills
- Willingness for 40 %/ on-call as needed.
Nice-to-have
- Motion systems (servo/stepper), camming/gear ratio familiarity
- MES/data collection exposure
- Safety PLC programming.
Hard disqualifiers (please screen out)
- No hands-on field/start-up experience
- No exposure to Rockwell or Siemens environments
- Unwilling to work on-site/in plants or travel as required
- Total experience outside the 3–5-year band for core controls work
